who we introduced you to a while back? She lives in the town of Wapo, and like most others living in the Central African Republic, has lost loved ones due to dirty water. In 2019, our team was able to complete the baseline study, which identified how many people were actually living in Wapo, and the number of wells needed to provide appropriate water coverage. To determine how many wells are needed in a town, we take the number of people and divide it by the suggested amount per well, 250 people. Once we knew we needed eight wells, we got to work plotting out the locations of the pumps, so that no one in Wapo had to walk further than .25 miles for clean water.

ffffffffffffffffffff

We cannot start the work until it is funded, and through the generosity of our Water for Good donors, we were able to raise enough money, $144,000, to be able to get to work.
