There are many challenges…
that go into providing clean water to the second poorest country in the world. In order to create a lasting system, we need to collect a lot of data such as village locations and how many people actually reside there. For these next two Baseline Studies, we’ve hired Thomas Martensson.
COLLECTING ALL THIS DATA POSES NUMEROUS CHALLENGES.
Heavy rains often cause serious damage to the road network, which is mainly dirt. Breakdowns and accidents on the slippery roads halt travel. Getting reliable information often requires a laborious and time-consuming head counting of each and every person in a village. But at the moment none of these problems are as big as the one we are all facing. The fear of COVID-19. Our team is working hard on how to still conduct work in a safe and secure manner, affects everyone. Thomas and his team have to interact with dozens, if not hundreds, of people a day and safety is always a priority.

IT IS A BALANCING ACT
working with a community while attempting to keep that community safe. The precautions slow the process, yet they are necessary to stop the spread of the virus.
